Jackson is a pure white lab out of Crystal. He is know for his vivacious personality, a great disposition, remarkable intelligence and willingness to please.

His pedigree has American Pointing Labradors champions stacked way back. On her mother’s side you can find Sir Charles Barkley and several labs from Simerdown Labradors in Conifer, Colorado. Simerdown labs are noted hunters and have incredible dispositions but Simerdown Labradors are best known for their over 50 champions in the show rings.l

His mother Crystal is now retired and is a certified pet therapist at Children’s hospital in Denver.

He is a handsome Lab with nose to the ground hunting instincts coupled with a wonderfully intelligent, mellow, obedient, loves to please disposition. His parents are clear/normal for Centralneural Myopathy, Degenerative myelopathy, Exercise induced collapse, Hereditary nasal parakeratosis, PRCD, RA, retinal dysplasia/Oculoskeletal dysplasia 1, and skeletal dysplasia 2. Brickhouse Red Bayfield Burke comes from Altman Labradors at Altman SD. Doug Altman has raised hunting labs for over 20 years. Burke is an extremely intelligent dog with a vibrant (but not hyper) personality. His stamina as a hunter is tireless.  He passes on his stand out fox red color to his puppies.

Duke’s Johnny Cashew (Cash)

Cash has a laid back temperament that would cause you to think perhaps he is lazy. That is until you grab a ball or a gun. Cash has hunted three times in NAGDA National Finals. He loves to hunt and retrieve. He is also the dog in my house visiting children use for a pillow. A two year old can and often has taken him for a walk on leash. He has visited the nursing home as a pet therapy dog. I get consistent feed back that Cash’s puppies are “the best dog I have ever been around” or “the best hunting dog I have ever owned” or “placed Reserve Champion or even Champion in 4-H confirmation and/or agility” and “placed consistently in dock diving competition.” Several are nursing home and elementary school therapy dogs.

Cash’s hips are OFA certified good. He is EIC clear, PRCD and RD clear, which means his puppies cannot be effect by Exercise Induced Collapse or either of the known forms of inherited blindness.

Duke and our Grandson, Weston then 19, were the 2005 winners of the Mike Hatfield Sr. Memorial Hunt, second place winner of the 2005 Colorado Hunting Retriever Championship, and 2004, 2005 and 2006 qualifiers, and NAGDA (North American Gun Dog Association) national championship, open flushing division.

Hank is an 80 pound, lean and muscular fox red lab.  Hank is my introduction to producing fox red puppies.  Hank is Nebraska bred. His dam is a very, very red female. There are AKC titles in Rally and Agility in her line. Hank’s sire is Lankas Labs Hunting Machine who is out of Master Hunter,  Bar None’s Snake River Otter MH and Snake River Delta SH.  There are 15 titles in the sire’s line in 4 generations.  Names like Gumbo, Rebel without a Cause, Sir Hershey, MsChief and more.  Hank is fast and his stamina is phenomenal.  At the same time, like all of Whispering Pines stock, he settles to an amazing pet in the house.  Hank produces all three colors with shades of yellow from white to deep red, dark chestnut and sometimes liver colored chocolates, and black.

Whispering Pine’s Diego Del Fuego

Diego born and bred here at Whispering Pines, is owned by Mary Boyd and Robert Yorgensen. Diego is out of Annie and Cash. Offspring of this couple are handsome, talented and easily trained.
